Terms of Use

This service is an information sharing site where information is written and edited free of charge by volunteers (hereinafter "Users"). Almost all pages can be rewritten by anyone at any time.

Therefore, the Company, which provides the service, is not obligated to examine and manage information posted to this service. The Company shall not be liable for any damage inflicted on Users arising from the use of this service.

Users agree to use this service at their own responsibility, and accept all matters specified below prior to use. At the time of start of use of this service (when Users access it within ISSCIO for the first time), Users shall be deemed to have agreed to the conditions.

1. Viewing/Contribution

1-1.

Users shall determine at their own responsibility whether they trust the facts/information provided via this service, and how they utilize them. The Company shall not be responsible for the results of any procedures/business, including registration and application for intellectual property.

Complaints and disputes with Users who provide the facts/information for this service shall be resolved between the parties concerned. The Company shall in no way be involved with such matters.

The Company shall provide Users with no guarantee that their use of the site is legitimate from the standpoint of the laws that apply to them. Therefore, if User's viewing of the content/information of this service, and sending of information as Users of this service is found illegal by the laws of their country, and if punishment is applicable or about to be applicable based on its ruling, the Company shall take no responsibility.

Users who provide information for this service shall agree that, even if the provided information falls under copyright, as soon as it is provided for this service, copyright on the description (including the rights specified in Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Law of Japan) is retained by the Company. Thereafter, Users shall waive copyrights and moral rights to the Company and other users.

The Company shall not guarantee that the use/viewing of this service or the use of hyperlinks and buttons for contributions shall cause no damage to Users' computers, software, data, communications lines, communications devices, etc.

Therefore the Company shall make no guarantee to Users in terms of safety and security of this service against unauthorized program containing so-called browser crashers and computer viruses; or that there is no possibility that, as a result of using this service, computers accessing this service may become temporarily or permanently unusable; or that there will be no unauthorized entry from third parties.

The Company shall also not guarantee Users that this service can be used with no faults, failures or other problems, or that, if some problem occurs, the Company will eliminate or repair viruses or other harmful elements.

2. Information

2-1.

The information provided by this service is subject to change without notice, including suspension or cancellation of a release. Provided information may also not be up to date. The Company shall never guarantee the contents of the information provided by this service, including legality, accuracy, usefulness, reliability and safety. Users shall agree to this before use of this service.

Therefore, the Company shall not be responsible for any damage incurred by Users arising from the use of this service.

2-2.

The Company shall not support any violation of laws. However, the Company shall not guarantee that the information provided in this service is legal from the standpoint of laws that must be observed by the Users.

Thus the Company shall not guarantee that the information provided in this service does not unreasonably criticize/slander a specific individual or organization; that it does not interfere with business of a specific company or damage trust; or that it does not infringe the copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights of others. Users use this service at their own responsibility.

Even if Users are accused by other users or third parties of the above infringements (including infringement of rights of third parties), the problem shall be resolved by the parties concerned, and the Company shall not be involved.

3. Operations of this Service

3-1.

Due to updates, additions, changes, removal or partial reorganization of the service, maintenance and inspection of network systems, trouble or failure of devices and circuits, power outage, disaster or other unavoidable reasons, the Company may temporarily suspend or stop this service without prior notice to its users.

In such cases, the Company shall not be responsible for any damage incurred by Users.

3-2.

If the Company determines that posted information is not appropriate for this service, it shall have the ability to remove the information based on the copyrights retained by the Company under 1-3. An example of this would be information intended for advertising and marketing of the information provider, instead of answers to the questions. In this case, the Users who provide the information for this service and other users shall have no right to raise objection. Even if they suffer losses from not being able to obtain information or have not been able to obtain the information, they shall have no ability to call on the Company to take responsibility.

4. Links to Other Sites

4-1.

If Users access a site external to this site via a link from this service, it shall not be the Company's concern. Users shall check the rules of each linked site and use/view it at their own responsibility.

Even if Users suffer from any loss or damage in such cases, the Company shall not be liable.

4-2.

The Company shall provide no guarantee to Users of the legality, accuracy, safety, etc. concerning external sites and their pages linked with the pages of this service.

Therefore, the Company shall provide no guarantee to Users in terms of safety that there is appropriate page at linked destinations or that there are no programs containing so-called browser crashers and computer viruses at external sites linked to this service.

The Company shall also provide no guarantee that accessing external sites via the hyperlinks included in the information provided by this service will cause no damage to Users' computers, software, data, communications lines, communications devices, etc.

4-3.

The Company shall support no statements made at external sites and their pages by providing links in this service. If the statement concerned goes against Users' principles and/or offends Users, the Company shall take no responsibility.

5. Trademarks

Company and product names in the information provided by this service are the registered trademarks or trademarks of respective companies or individuals.
